Why choose REXIC

What defines us

Genuine technical specialisation

We are fluent across different brands of PLC, HMI and SCADA, control cabinets and industrial protocols. Our competitive advantage lies in deep knowledge of the most demanding control equipment on the market.

Migration between platforms

Reverse engineering of the existing system. Planned and documented PLC and SCADA migrations, version upgrades and changes of supervision platform.

Industrial and OT/IT networks

Modbus, PROFINET, IEC 61850 and DNP3. We configure SEL RTAC units, OT and IT switches, and communication with fiscal meters.

We integrate industrial electrical work, automation, industrial networks and information systems, which is what makes efficient solutions possible.

Standards and judgement

The standards we work to

Every design, from a control cabinet to a protection system, is executed against a specific standard.

NOM-001-SEDE

Electrical installations

The Mexican official standard for installations intended for the supply and use of electrical energy. It governs conductor sizing, protective devices, raceways and safety clearances for everything we install.

NOM-029-STPS

Safety in electrical maintenance

Safety conditions for the maintenance of electrical installations. It defines lockout/tagout, work authorisation and the protective equipment our personnel wear when entering an energised switchboard.

RES/550/2021

Mexican Grid Code 2.0

General administrative provisions on efficiency, quality, reliability, continuity and security of the Mexican National Electric System. It is the framework for our power quality studies.

IEC 61850 · DNP3

Substation communications

International standards for data exchange between relays, controllers and supervision systems. They are the basis for integrating protection equipment from different manufacturers.

NOM-002-STPS · NFPA 72

Fire detection and prevention

Safety conditions for fire prevention and protection, and the international criterion for detection and alarm systems. They govern the installation, testing and diagnosis of the systems we service.
